Since the beginning. Clifty Engineering has used the apprenticeship program to train and develop skilled toolmakers, designers and machinist. Nearly all of our toolmakers, designers and machinist have gone through our program or similar programs with other companies. Not saying that I'm comparing our program with others, I'm not because our program is unique to others.
What makes it unique? First of all the trainers at Clifty have been in the business for many years. Most have gone through same program. They can share their experience with new apprentice. Next Clifty use's "Penn Foster Schools" to provide study material for home study. Also each person who completes their four year onsite training at Clifty Engineering  and completes the Penn Foster coarse will receive their journeyman papers from the "Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training" and a ring. Each new journeyman will be recognized at a shop meeting. Their picture will be taken receiving the ring and certificates. This picture is given to that person so they can display it along with their other certificate
